Wouter Tulp

Wouter Tulp was born in Vlaardingen on March 16, 1979. From a young age he knew that all he wanted to do was draw and paint. After high school he attended the “Willem de Kooning” academy in Rotterdam. In 2001 he began his career doing mainly editorial illustrations and caricatures for the main magazines and newspapers in the Netherlands. In addition to his editorial work, Wouter also illustrated many children's books that have been published in many countries. More recently, he steered his career toward character design for animated features, beginning on a German feature in 2012 working with the late Harald Siepermann. Since then, Wouter has worked on numerous film projects, including a Paul McCartney feature film. He is currently doing character designs for “Eevolver.”
