Adrian Lubbers graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA in Education with a minor in Art. He later became a classically trained animator, graduating from the prestigious Sheridan College animation program in Toronto, Canada. As a traditionally trained 2D animator, he is comfortable in many traditional media, including watercolor and acrylic. With the arrival of the 21st century, he now enjoys using digital painting to further the realism of his work. Currently, he works as a freelance artist from home and works for “The Weekly Standard”, “The Wall Street Journal”, “National Geographic Kids”, “Ludacris”, “Loblaws”, “Riverside Honda”, “Tnt Motorcycling”, “St .Albert Protestant Schools”, “The Methusala Foundation”, “Bridgeworks Consultin”g and numerous personal commissions. He recently finished illustrating two children's books "Sleepwalking Will" and the sequel "Sleepwalking Will: It's Jack" with author Courtney Drake.
