Bigod O Sapo

By LatAm ARTE

Born in 1981, in the capital of the state of Bahia, greatly influenced by cartoons, comics and games, he was introduced to the world of Graffiti in the late 90s. While still in high school, he began experimenting with painting on shirts with sprays and airbrushes, and only later ended up extending to the walls. He was part of a project where he painted every day unconsciously, his strokes and his technique took a constant tangent of growth, often focused on the characters with whom he has the most affinities and from where his trademark was born, The cururus frogs of the most different shapes and colors. Along came the memory of his childhood near the tide with the puffer fish and protecting the unknown with the frowns. His works can be seen in many places in Salvador and some interiors of Bahia. With the aim of propagating Bahian art and culture through graffiti, he was invited to create murals in some cities around the world: Buenos Aires, Valparaiso, Paris, Rome, Modena, Firenze, Venice, Reggio Emillia, Verbânia, Milan, Bologna, Bassano Del Grappa, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Berlin, Madrid, Mexico City, Tabasco and Miami are just a few examples where "the frog" has already jumped. BIGOD, uses your talent as tools for building escape doors for creativity through Graffiti.
