Bob Katzenelson was born in 1960. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in the area of line graphics from 1984 to 1986. He worked as a magazine designer based on Randers Amts Avis from 1986 to 1987. Since 1994 he has been delivering drawings for the annual satirical brochure "Svikmøllen" . He has been an independent cartoonist since 1997 with commissions for magazines, specialized newspapers, editorials and others. He created illustrations and animations for the set design of the first performance of the opera "Bent Lorenzens - Cain and Abel" at Thanksgiving at the Royal Opera in 2006, designed the set design and costumes for "Ragnarok", the Ring of the Nibelungs of Wagner at Esbjerg's The New Opera in 2008, the costumes for "Tristan and Isolde" at the Royal Opera in 2010, and all three performances in collaboration with instructor Stig Fogh Andersen. He has illustrated several books and children's books, in addition, he wrote and signed "Karla stays at the Zoo" at Afart publishing house in 2012. He has been a permanent freelance signer for Berlingske since 2007.
