Ángel Boligan

Ángel Boligan Corbo was born on May 10, 1965 in San Antonio de los Baños, Havana, Cuba. Since 1992 he lives in Mexico. He studied at the National School of Plastic Arts Instructors in Havana, from which he graduated in 1987 as Professor of Plastic Arts. He worked as an editor, illustrator and cartoonist for the magazine "El Universal" and the newspaper "Know more". He currently works as an editorial cartoonist for the humor magazine “El Chamuco”. For his cartoon creation, he received more than 120 awards and mentions in international competitions. Ángel Boligan Corbo is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, a member of "Cagle cartoons", "International Union of Cartoonists of the United States" and "Courrier International Agency" in France. He is the President of the Agency "Cartoon Club" and Club de la Historieta Latina. He has Mexican citizenship and currently lives and works in Mexico City.
