He was born on December 9, 1956 in Ruse, Bulgaria. In 1982 he graduated from the Sofia Higher Institute of Architecture. From 1983 to 1990 he worked as a graphic designer in various Bulgarian newspapers and magazines, from 1990 to 1994 he was editor and editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine “Shut” (Jester), from 1994 to 2003 he was director of the advertising agency “Yulika” and since 2003 he is art director of the “Imeon-Balkani” Foundation. He has participated in more than 400 painting and cartoon exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad and has illustrated more than 50 books from different Bulgarian publishers. His paintings are in public and private galleries in Austria, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, the United States, and Ukraine. He is also a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the Federation of Cartoonists-FECO.
