a children's book illustrator based in Costa Rica. I studied a BA in Digital Animation at Veritas University (Costa Rica, 2017); followed by a Masters degree in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin (England, 2020). Drawing inspiration from movies, old pictures, nature and the "slice of life" genre, my artwork is mainly digital, characterized by vibrant and colourful palettes with a strong sense of design. I spend most of my time working in the studio I share with my husband, graphic novelist Edo Brenes; but once in a while I also like to go out and explore the world.
