Klaus Pitter was born in 1947 in Timelkam, Upper Austria. He is an Austrian cartoonist and illustrator. He attended Professor Herberth's classes at the “University of Applied Arts” in Vienna and has a Master's degree in Graphic Design. He collaborated in different magazines like "Neues Forvm", "Pardon", "Konkret" and "Päd extra" by Günther Nennings. He created several comics and illustrated the "Umweltspürnasen" series, as well as numerous factual, humor and language books. His works and drawings were published in "Eltern", "Trend", "Kurier" and "Kraut & Rüben". He was also responsible for the graphic design of the children's magazine "Wunderwelt". His cartoon creations are regularly published in the magazine "Konsument" and, less frequently, in "Weltgewissen", the magazine of Europahouse Burgenland. He also had individual and group exhibitions in Vienna, Salzburg in Austria and Duisburg, Saarbrücken, Passau and Marl in Germany. Klaus Pitter is a member of the Association of Visual Artists of Styria, Austria. He conducted comic workshops at the Märtplatz in Switzerland and the "Comic Workshop For Kids" in Vienna, Austria.
