Daniel Radulescu, born in 1990 in Brașov, brings his sculptures to life through meticulous manual sculpting, employing thousands of layers of molten steel without the use of molds or predefined shapes. This distinctive technique lends an unparalleled uniqueness to his sculptures, rendering them impossible to duplicate. Having graduated from the Sculpture Department under the mentorship of Professor Adrian Ilfoveanu, Daniel unveiled his first solo exhibitions in 2017 – “WeldingEmotions” and “Metal, EU!”, followed by “M E И T A L” in 2018, “Stranger Things”,  “HEAVYlayers”, and presentations at the Pavilion of Supercontemporary Young Blood. His exceptional artworks showcased at Art Safari solidified his status as Romania’s most sought-after steel artist. In 2021, Daniel proudly represented Romania at the World Exhibition – Expo 2020 in Dubai. There, he orchestrated the largest workshop dedicated to Constantin Brâncuși, drawing in around 10,000 participants from 100 different countries. His artistic brilliance at Romania’s Pavilion earned him recognition from the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy. Daniel actively engages in annual charitable auctions, lending his support to causes that aid vulnerable individuals. His most recent charitable endeavor was at the prestigious Castel Ball in Iași, the largest philanthropic event in the Moldova region. Notably, his sculpture “Going Up” achieved a record-breaking bid during the auction. To date, Daniel Rădulescu has crafted an impressive total of 97 sculptures, all of which now grace private collections across 10 countries spanning 4 continents.
