He was born in Silva Porto, Angola in 1975. He lived until he was 15 in Brazil, graduated in Journalism in Coimbra in Portugal and worked as a journalist in Lisbon for six years, before becoming a professional cartoonist and illustrator. He resides in Macau, China since 2009 He has been making editorial caricatures for “Expresso”, one of the main newspapers in Portugal, since 2006. He currently publishes in its Economy section and online edition. He also collaborates with the newspapers “Ponto Final” (Portuguese) and “Macau Daily Times” (English). The first solo cartoon exhibition “Humoralia” was held at SCM Hostel, Macao, in 2012; the same year he released his first cartoon book “Fatal Point”, a collection of editorial cartoons previously published by Ponto Final.
