Valentin Georgiev

Valentin Georgiev was born on May 18, 1970 in Targovishte, Bulgaria. From 1984 to 1988 he studied at the "N. Marinov"-Targovishte Secondary Art School and from 1990 to 1995 at the Veliko Tarnovo Academy of Fine Arts "St. Cyril and Methodius" where he graduated with a specialty in painting with the Professor N. Rouschukliev. He works as a freelance artist concentrating primarily on painting, cartooning, and illustration. He has had 17 individual exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. Valentin Georgiev participated in numerous national and international cartoon competitions and his works received about 100 prestigious awards.
