Juan Diego Cano

I was born in Armenia (Quindío), surrounded by the mountains and the green of the Colombian central mountain range. There I began my photographic career at the Diario La Crónica del Quindío in 2004. After several years and after finishing university I traveled to Bogotá where I began to direct the photography area of El Periódico de los Colombianos. After a year I joined El Tiempo Casa Editorial in 2010. There my work has been directed towards photography and documentary video, recording different social situations that arise in the country. After 11 years I left El Tiempo to create my audiovisual company, in which I did documentary and commercial work for brands such as McDonald's, Audi, Ducati, Diageo, Bancolombia, among others.
