My name is Pujan Shadlau and I am a Vienna-based photographer, born and raised in Vienna with Persian roots.   I focus mainly on atmospheric shots, created out of landscapes and in nature. My goal is to show the beauty of these scenes in the most ethereal light, through my point of view.   I am an amateur photographer and have had several touchpoints with photography and arts in general throughout my life. Although I am an IT-Architect in my 9 to 5 job, I have always felt drawn towards arts and imagery as a means of expression.  Being outside to shoot is what I love.  Nonetheless there is an equal balance between taking the image and my love for editing images to bring out and accentuate my vision. The goal is to transport these feelings to the viewer. To improve my editing skills, I have taken several online editing sessions with renown photographers whose work I admire, like Neil Burnell, Joshua Snow or Enrico Fossati, as well as learning in-field techniques of how to take my photographs regarding the conditions and composition.   Learning directly from masters of the craft is one of the most efficient ways to improve as a photographer.  Therefore I have also utilized many editing videos from people who have already built a solid Camera RAW and Photoshop workflow in landscape photography and adopted them for my needs. Daniel Laan and Ted Gore are two photographers who have been a great source of inspiration to me. I also consider knowledge in the field of color theory to be very important when editing an image. I think it is something that you can’t see in the first place but you can feel immediately - and a well balanced color spectrum will make you like an image within seconds. That’s the reason why I always invest a certain amount of time balancing out the colors in my images as well.  No matter if buying a print and enjoying it in your own home or booking an online editing session with me to work on yo
