“I was born in Matanzas, Cuba. Since I started doing illustrations for children I stopped growing. I have very long arms that allow me to hug tightly (even several people at the same time). I'm not good at playing video games, but at gambling I'm even worse. I love animals even though I was once bitten by a vicious dog. I have illustrated books in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Turkey and Uruguay. When I was little, I collected stamps. Now I collect concerts, theater and movie tickets, little stones, nieces and nephews”.
