Cris Eich was born in Mogi, in the interior of São Paulo, in 1965. As a teenager he moved to São Paulo where he attended engraving, painting, ceramics and watercolor ateliers, a technique for which he has a predilection. Illustrating children's books made it possible to unite two passions: drawing and literature, and Quem Los Wins is their fifty-second collaboration in books for children. He currently lives in Guararema, a small, small town, with Jean-Claude (also an illustrator), Clarice and Juju. She continues illustrating, trying her hand at pottery and Tai Chi Chuan as the girls grow up and the cats scratch the furniture.
