“I was born in a beautiful city called Arequipa, in the south of Peru. I have been a cartoonist and caricaturist for more than 20 years and I began my career in 1979 with two exhibitions of political humor that marked my life. I studied biology and journalism. I obtained the prize of the Union of Cuban Journalists in the VI Biennial of Graphic Humor of San Antonio de los Baños in Cuba and the prizes "Citation" and bronze medal in the International Graphic Humor Contest of the newspaper "Yomiuri Shimbun" of Japan , on two occasions (1985-1986). I also won third place in the “Knokke Heist” Outstanding Political Humor Contest in Belgium and was a member of the international jury of 35 “Konkke Heist” International Humor Festival in Belgium in 1996. My works have been exhibited in Humor Exhibitions and museums all over the world, such as Belgium, Bulgaria, Cuba, Spain, France, England, Italy and Japan. Likewise, I was selected for the sample of the 100 Graphic Humor teachers, on the theme Peace in the World, in Italy. I published three humor books: "Save yourself who can", "Don't make me laugh" and "Yes, dear".
