Andrzej Krauze was born in Poland in 1947. He moved to London in 1979 and still lives there. He began his career as a cartoonist with a satirical newspaper called “Szpilka” when he was still a student. Later, he designed theater posters after winning a competition. Andrzej publishes his cartoons in the magazines and newspapers “The Times”, “The Independent”, “The Sunday Telegraph”, “The Observer” and, since 1989, in “The Guardian”. Since 2001 he publishes his cartoons in the Polish newspaper “Rzeczpospolita”.
