Trayko Popov

Trayko Popov was born in 1955 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He began drawing professionally in 1972. For many years he worked as a concept artist for American software companies. He currently works as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator mainly throughout Europe for large and small clients in the publishing and advertising sector. He illustrates books, magazines, and produces cartoons and short cartoons. Trayko's works appear daily on various digital sites. His works of art have been exhibited in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in the country and abroad such as in Brazil, Belgium, Canada, the United States, France, Italy, Mexico, Turkey and Switzerland. In addition, he participated in national and international caricature contests and his works have been awarded numerous prizes and honorable mentions worldwide. Trayko Popov is the Vice President of the Bulgarian Federation of Cartoonists' Organizations (FECO) and founder of the cartoon website www.cartoonart.eu.
