Fabiane Langona (Porto Alegre, 1984) is a Brazilian cartoonist, draftsman and visual artist. Initially, she had assumed the pseudonym “Chiquinha”, but since 2017 she began to sign her works with her first name, Fabiane Langona. She is a self-taught visual artist, she graduated in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul and began working as an assistant editor at the Brazilian publishing house of the magazine “Mad”. In 2005, she published her comic in the column of the cartoonist Ota in the “Jornal do Brasil” and, shortly after, she was hired as a regular cartoonist for the supplement “Folhateen de Folha de S.Paulo” and joined the team of cartoonists of the portal of the portal "Universo Online". He also collaborated in publications such as “Tarja Preta”, “Vip”, “Piauí”, “Zero Hora”, “Diário Catarinense”, “Jornal do Comércio”, “TPM”, “Mundo Estranho”, “Le Monde Diplomatique”, among others. Fabiane has already published books with a compilation of her works. The first was “Uma Patada Com Carinho”, released in 2011.
