“I was born in 1973 as Patrick Mark Boehm (my parents were fans of the actor Patrick McGoohan at the time), from a very early age I became interested in drawing, parodies and comic art in general. When I was 15 years old, together with my younger brother Tim Boehm, we created the comic fanzine "Zeitlupe", which we published for ten years. While my brother is mainly dedicated to the field of cartoons, comics and animation, I have specialized in making detailed caricatures. My first influences were mainly in the Franco-Belgian comics scene: illustrators like Uderzo (Asterix), Morris (Lucky Luke), Franquin (Spirou, Gaston), Tabary (Isnogoud) and caricaturists like Jean Mulatier, Patrice Ricord and Jean- Claude. Morchoisne. Actually, it all started with Volker Ernsting, whose caricatures in "Hörzu" inspired me, when I was nine, to also do "something like that" one day; and later, of course, Sebastian Krüger, whom I already met personally. In 2005 I participated, together with artists from all over the world, in a workshop. After high school (art as main field of study) I learned graphic design at the “Carl-Hofer-Schule” in Karlsruhe. I then worked for several years as a layout designer at a publishing house in Baden-Baden. I started painting quite late, until 2004, all my color works were done with colored pencils. In 2006 I started my own business as a caricaturist, focusing on commissioned work for private clients and special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, retirements, confirmations, etc. But some of my works have also been published in international magazines such as “Caricature Magazine” and “Idealog” and books such as “Madonna in Art” and “Marilyn in Art.”
