Husejin Hanusic, known in the world of caricatures by the pseudonym "Rubber," was born in 1953 in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a cartoonist, illustrator and technical editor. In 1972 he moved to the city of Brcko, where he worked as a teacher in several different schools. Since 1987 he worked in the local newspaper “Graditelj” (later changed to “Brcanske novine”) as a cartoonist, illustrator and technical editor and also a permanent cartoonist associate in the Sarajevo daily “Oslobodjenje”. His works have been published in various newspapers and magazines in the former Yugoslavia. He is a member of the Bosnian Journalists Society and also the Croatian Cartoonists Society. Hule held many exhibitions not only in Bosnia-Herzegovina but in many other countries. His cartoons were published in international cartoon magazines such as “Rappelkopf” from Austria, “Akrep” from Cyprus, “Don Quichotte” from Germany, “Dobri Humor” from Poland, “Bostonmag” from the United States and various web portals. cartoon. Rubber actively cooperated with one of the world's most famous cartoon ezines “Fenamizah” from Turkey. Since the beginning of the Bosnian war in 1992, he lives with his family in Vienna, Austria, where he continued to work as a cartoonist, publishing some of the cartoons in the prestigious Viennese newspaper “Die Presse”. He worked at the "Academy of Fine Arts" in Vienna and has been retired since 2013.
