Habibollah Sadeghi, a renowned Iranian artist, was born in Tehran in 1957. He studied art at the School of Fine Arts and the College of Fine Arts, under influential teachers like Mahmoud Farshchian and Parviz Tanavoli. During the Islamic Revolution, Sadeghi documented the resistance movement through his paintings, which were later exhibited in Iran and France. He also joined the Art Center of Islamic Thought, a cultural society formed by artists and intellectuals. Sadeghi's career includes teaching at universities, working as a designer and illustrator for newspapers, and serving as director of the contemporary museum. His works often draw inspiration from Persian literature and poetry, incorporating national cultural elements into his paintings. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to Iranian art.
