Fares Garabet

He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Damascus, Syria in 1986. In 1999 he studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Rome, Italy and has a PhD in animation from Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt. He is Director of the Graphic Design department of interior architecture at the International University of Science and Technology in Syria and is also a professor of graphics at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University. He published his illustrations for children in various magazines such as “Majed”, “Arabi Saghir Ahmed”, “Aladin” and “Bassem”. His drawings were published in the newspaper “Syria Alwatan”, newspaper “Qatar Alraya” and the newspaper “Kuwit Annahar”. He also published several books about his drawings and participated in several national and international exhibitions and competitions.
