Born June 6, 1945  cartoonist and screenwriter Cláudio Paiva (Carangola, June 6, 1945) is a cartoonist and one of the most renowned writers of Brazilian humor programs. He was a screenwriter for successful programs such as TV Pirata, Sai de Baixo and A Grande Família. He wrote for Fantástico and A Comedia da Vida Privada. He created the series Tapas & Beijos and Chapa Quente. In 1984, he created the monthly humor tabloid O Planeta Diário, alongside Reinaldo and Hubert; as part of the Planeta team, he was co-author of Perry White's column in Folha de S. Paulo (the best columns were collected in 1986 in the book Apelo à raço). He remained on the team until 1988, when he began to dedicate himself to scripts for TV Pirata; Hubert and Reinaldo would remain in the newspaper and in the Casseta & Planeta group. After the success of TV Pirata, Paiva did the final writing for the programs Sai de Baixo and A Grande Família.
