Valentin Dubinin

Cartoonist and animator Valentin Dubinin was born in 1975 in Gorkiy (now Nizhny Novgorod), Russia. He currently lives near Kaluga, Russia. He began painting from the age of 2 with a pen on himself. In 1997 he studied at the “Kaluga Musical College” and in 1982 he finished art school and music school. His parents cultivated humor in Valentín by subscribing to many humor magazines of the time. Since 2006 he is an independent artist and animator. Valentin created many cartoons for local magazines and newspapers. He likes to use illusions and ambiguous images in his cartoons. He also won several cartoon contests.
