Brazilian Luiz Gustavo Paffaro is seen as one of the most creative artists of his generation. He studied Advertising at the Universidade Paulista, he worked as creative director for 12 years at the “SP Authentic” Advertising Agency. Professional since 1997, he has illustrated for some of the main print media in the country such as “Folha de S. Paulo”, “View”, “Fantastic Almanac”, S”super-Interesante”, “Strange World”, “Sapiens”, “ Voce S/A”, “Bizz”, “Score”, “Small Business & Large Companies”, “Alfa”, “Adventures in History”, “Continente”, “MAD” (cover), among others. He was a contributor to the newspaper "El Quisquilloso 21" (Ziraldo's newspaper). He illustrated the book: "Allá en la Rocinha", Patricia Secco, "Are you lying, Chico?" El Ziraldo, "The Curumim Poet" Simone Pedersen, "Knowing the Orchestra and the Maestro" Clarice Miranda and Liana Justus. He has some national and international awards, including: - First place in the Piracicaba International Humor Exhibition - First place on the Cultural Map He served as a juror at the Piracicaba International Humor Exhibition in 2012, Piracicaba University Humor Exhibition, Cultural Map in 2010 and 2011 in the areas of Visual Arts and Humor Design. He is currently dedicated to drawing and is a freelance illustrator, artist, developer of “Folha de São Paulo” and “Veja”, he also teaches art in his studio.
