“My name is Steffen Kraft, I was born in Heidelberg at a time when there were only four television programs and winter offered enough snow for an igloo. A time without the internet, mobile phones and social media and we only had tapes, letters and outdoor games. I like the nostalgic "back to the roots", but I still like the present. The most exciting task today is to live attentively in the present. Look from time to time at the essential with all means of distraction: consciously perceive and reflect the world and act in such a way that it is not only good for oneself, but also for everyone else. As a communication designer, I have the opportunity to reflect the world in images and help shape them. Photography and illustration are also a kind of meditation for me. On the one hand it is the focus on an object or an activity; On the other hand, I can express in images something that is important to me.”
