Horia Crisan

He was born in 1960 in Hunedoara. He began drawing and publishing cartoons in 1979. He is a qualified engineer and is currently general director of the “CRISAN” Publishing House. He has held more than 325 international exhibitions in 37 countries and has won 80 awards in 16 countries. He is founder and sponsor of the magazine “Caricature” and the International Cartoon Contest “Humo DAEVA”. He is also a member of the Union of Romanian Artists (U.A.P.) and the first Romanian cartoonist who started drawing for P.C. GRAPHIE. He has published eight books.
