Pierre Ballouhey, was born on November 24, 1944 in Saint-Marcellin, Isère. He is a French illustrator and cartoonist. He studied at the “Arts Deco de Grenoble” and then at the “Beaux-Arts”. He works for the group “France-Illustrations”, where he creates visuals for national campaigns for “L'Oreal”. He also draws for several newspapers, including “The Guardian”, “Sine Hebdo” or 60 million consumers. In addition, he illustrates books for the youth edition “Copain des Bois”, “Cabins and Shelters” or “Freshwater Fishing” (Milan Presse), “The Tic-Tac Clock” (Nathan), “Pinocchio”, “La Case Uncle Tom's” (Scandinavia in Copenhagen) and “Velo Magazine” (Glenat). He taught drawing for the press at the Emile-Cohl School in Lyon, is president of “France-Cartoons”, an association of French-speaking caricaturists and is a member of “Cartooning for Peace”.
