What are Graphic Arts and what are their processes?

Whenever we talk about the graphic process we have to distinguish between two stages: the creative process and the industrial process. And both are equally important, although we must keep in mind that creativity has certain limits that must be known in order to create projects based on them.

Today at Ferysu we will tell you what Graphic Arts consists of and we will explain in more detail the processes that we have mentioned above.

What do we mean when we talk about Graphic Arts?
The concept of Graphic Arts refers to the development of all types of visual elements, based on drawing, engraving and techniques related to printing.

We can say that Graphic Arts are an artistic process of creating and developing a specific design, using a medium by which the image is transferred to a substrate, thus creating an artistic expression.

This term began to be used after the invention of the printing press. Thus, all trades related to letterpress printing such as printing, binding, etc. were grouped together.

Currently we can include digital printing in this term due to the great technological development that has occurred over recent years.

Graphic Arts are used as a means of advertising dissemination, applying different techniques whether on signs and posters or on packaging and boxes, containers, labels, web pages, etc.
