What is the history of ceramic art?

Until a few years ago, it was thought that the origin of pottery dates back to 10,000 BC, but pieces from 28,000 BC have been discovered, such as animal figures. Likewise, it was only in the Neolithic period (from 12,000 BC to 7,000 BC) that the first containers for storing water or food were created. According to some sources, the place where the most elaborate and sophisticated methods of baking pieces in ovens began to be developed was in China. Gradually, the techniques gave way to others, changing over time. In Greece, potters were responsible for the development of this method, although they were influenced by the civilizations of Canaan, Mesopotamia and Ancient Egypt. Thus, they covered the pieces with drawings that narrated the daily life and customs of the time.
