10 incredible graffiti around the world that you need to know

Made by super talented graffiti artists, these murals are true works of art.
Graffiti is a true work of art, capable of changing places – not to mention that they are forms of artistic expression in public spaces. Here in Brazil, there are big names who spread colors and designs across the country's walls and sidewalks, with the city of São Paulo being one of the favorite places to see this type of art.
Around the world, it is possible to see great artists who take street art seriously and transform “normal places” into true canvases. With that in mind, Guia da Semana has made a list of 10 incredible graffiti around the world that you need to know. Check it out:
KOBRA (BRAZIL)

One of the best-known Brazilian artists when it comes to street art is Eduardo Kobra. Spread across skyscrapers and unusual spots, the artist's super colorful murals catch anyone's attention. Perhaps one of the Brazilian's most famous works is "The Kiss", in New York, which depicts the famous scene in which a sailor and a nurse kiss to celebrate the end of World War II.

Os Gêmeos, Gustavo and Otávio Pandolfo, are Brazilian artists who spread their unusual and different works around the world. Through giant drawings, they mix art with folklore and popular stories, which results in large urban interventions. One of the (many) standout projects of the duo is at the Vancouver Biennale, where art manifests itself in 360º, through six gigantic barrels.

Unlike other artists, little is known about who Bansky is. Always mysterious, the English artist leaves his mark all over the world. His works have striking characteristics such as irony, critical tone and sarcasm. One of Bansky's most famous murals is "Soldier throwing flowers", which was done on the barrier that divides Israel from Palestine. The drawing depicts a citizen with his face covered throwing a bunch of flowers, instead of an object of war.
EDGAR MUELLER (GERMANY)

The German artist Edgar Müller is one of the great names in street art, since his drawings are famous all over the world and have the characteristic of being made in 3D. His fame is so great that since 1998 he has received the title of Maestro Madonnari (master street painter), granted to very few artists in the world.
JULIEN MALLAND/SETH (FRANCE)

French artist Julien Malland, also known as Seth Globepainter, takes his art to different corners of the world, portraying, most of the time, children in unusual situations, with a slight social critique in each painting. His most famous paintings are those in which children immerse their heads in a rainbow. Among the places he has visited and left his mark through art are several cities in France, Canada, China, Vietnam, Ukraine and Brazil.

ERNEST ZACHAREVIC (MALAYSIA)

Artist Ernest Zacharevic has a trademark for spreading his drawings while appropriating the space, using some external item, as is the case with "Boy at the Door". Their works are spread throughout Malaysia and function as a kind of game, where you need to look closely to see the work itself - otherwise, it may go unnoticed.

Lapiztola is a Mexican collective that carries out art interventions in various places around the world - they have even been here in Brazil. One of the characteristics of their works is that they present a political and social critique, aiming to convey a message to the public.
ZAG AND SIA (FRANCE)

Zag and Sia are French artists who leave their art on various staircases spread across cities in France, including Paris. Unlike other artists, the duo specializes in anamorphic art, that is, the same drawing can undergo transformations, distortions and recombinations. One of the best places to see their work is in Paris, where the mural "La Parisienne" is located.

MICHAIL SEREBRJAKOW

The Berlin Wall in Germany is one of the best places to admire street art. The place known as the West Gallery is where the best drawings are, such as the work "Diagonal Solution to the Problem", by artist Michail Serebrjakow. The drawing is clearly an ironic critique, as it shows a hand being forced to say that everything is fine.
INDIGO (CANADA)

The Canadian artist Indigo spreads her murals around the world using stencils, photographs and writing. She has participated in numerous visual exhibitions in Europe and has recently spread her works in other cities around the world. Her drawings convey a certain melancholy and, in most of them, you can see women.
