What is Midjourney? Getting to know this AI

Midjourney is a tool that uses artificial intelligence to create high-quality images based on textual descriptions. It is capable of interpreting user requests and converting them into creative visual representations. The results can range from impressive to bizarre.

The tool adopts a freemium model, offering a free option with limited features to allow users to test its functionality. Additionally, paid plans are available that offer additional benefits. These plans include a digital accelerator, allowing faster image generation, without restrictions on the number of images generated.

How to use Midjourney?
Midjourney generates images from natural language descriptions, called “prompts”. To use the tool, you need to have a Midjourney account and join their Discord server. Then, you can type the command “/imagine” followed by a description of what you want the AI to generate, such as “/imagine female humanoid robot, friendly expression, shaking hands with a real human when closing a deal.” The AI will then generate some images based on your prompt, and you can choose one of them, request alternative versions or images with a better quality through “upscaling”.

Midjourney has several commands in addition to “/imagine” that you can use, they range from basic commands to style and quality value commands. These commands are executed directly in Discord just like the input command. Below are some of the tool's main commands.

/relax - this command allows you to generate images at no cost, but it takes more time to process;
/private - with it you will have access to your private images;
/public - with this command you will have access to your public images;
/blend - used to blend images;
/giphy - this command finds gifs easily;
/prefer auto_dm - activates the automation that sends the generated images to your private.
